Adding Validation Rules

Steps to Add Validation Rules

1. Click on Add Validation Rules.

1. Define the allowed values or formats for the attribute, such as:
   • Comma-separated values
   • Semicolon-separated values
   • Decimal formats

1. After configuring the rules, click on Save Attribute Changes.

Example

You can apply validation rules to any attribute in the template.

For example, consider the “Status” attribute:

• You can set a validation rule to only accept "Active" values.
• This ensures that inactive products are not allowed in the dataset.
